Steven Snyder

Steven Snyder, PE, CEM, CMVP, is an Operations Manager at Johnson Controls, where they manage a team focused on creating energy models and optimizing central plant performance. With a robust background in mechanical and energy engineering, they have over ten years of experience in energy assessments, auditing large commercial facilities, and HVAC design. Prior to their current role, Steven held positions as a Central Plant Optimization Project Engineer at Johnson Controls and as a Mechanical Engineering EIT at EwingCole. They also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at Drexel University and held research positions at Arizona State University. Steven earned a Master of Science in Built Environment from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from Drexel University.
