Before that, Syed worked as a Controls Engineer at R.K.M Power Gen, focusing on commissioning and maintenance in a thermal power plant. They hold a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic and Instrumentation Engineering from Jeppiaar Engineering College and completed advanced training in Industrial Automation at Technocrat Automation.
