Matt Imrie

Matt Imrie is an experienced library professional currently serving as the Editor of the Teen Librarian Newsletter since May 2006 and as a Youth Information Specialist at Johnson County Library since 2019. Imrie has held multiple roles in library services, including Youth Services Associate at Kansas City, Kansas Public Library, and Circulation Clerk at Johnson County Public Library. Previous positions include Librarian at Farringtons School and Coordinator for Children & Young People's Services at Brent Libraries, Arts and Heritage. Imrie's career began as a Teen Librarian with the London Borough of Enfield, following the attainment of a Baccalaureus Technologiae degree in Library & Information Studies from Cape Peninsula University of Technology.
