Satya Neel

Satya Neel has a substantial work history in the field of information technology and cybersecurity. Satya has held various roles in different organizations, showcasing their expertise and experience.

Starting in 1992, Neel worked for the State of New Mexico, initially as an IT Network/Systems Administrator. Satya then moved on to become the IT Network Security Manager and Penetration Tester for the Department of Information Technology before becoming the Chief Information Security Officer for the State of New Mexico in 2005.

In 2007, Neel transitioned to the role of Chief Information Officer for the State of New Mexico, where they stayed until 2017. During their tenure, they were responsible for overseeing IT operations and security for the state.

After leaving the State of New Mexico, Neel joined Pecos Valley Medical Center as the Chief Information Officer from 2017 to 2019. Following this, they worked as a Cyber Security Lead for the IRS contractor from 2017 to 2018.

Neel's next role was as a Senior Cyber Security Architect at Los Alamos National Labs-N3B in 2019, where they stayed until 2020. Satya then joined Join Digital as the Chief Information Security Officer in 2020.

Most recently, Neel has been working as a Senior Cyber Security Architect/Engineer for the State of New Mexico since 2019.

Satya Neel completed their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University from 1987 to 1989.
