Alex Timm is the co-founder and CEO of Root Advisors. Alex has over fifteen years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to Root, Alex was a senior consultant at Nationwide Insurance, where they worked on corporate strategy. Alex also has experience working in academia, having taught actuarial exam review courses at Drake University. Alex has a passion for helping people make sound financial decisions and is committed to Root's mission of making financial advice accessible to everyone.
Alex Timm has a BSBA and BA from Drake University in actuarial science, accounting, and mathematics. Alex is a Fellow of The Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
