Héctor Borges

Héctor Borges has extensive experience in software engineering and management. Héctor currently holds the position of Senior Software Engineering Manager at Found. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Engineering Manager and Lead Backend Engineer at the same company.

Before joining Found, Héctor worked at Rockstar Coders as a Technical Project Manager and Full Stack Engineer for over 12 years. Héctor also worked at an undisclosed NYC start-up as a Frontend and Full Stack Engineer.

Héctor is a Co-Founder and former CTO of both Kreasoft, C.A. and Mediants. At Kreasoft, they worked for eight years and was responsible for overseeing technology operations. Similarly, at Mediants, they held the position of CTO for two years.

In addition to their industry experience, Héctor has teaching experience as a Professor and Undergraduate Teacher Assistant at Universidad de Carabobo. Héctor taught undergraduate courses in software engineering and related subjects.

Héctor Borges has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Universidad de Carabobo, which they obtained from 2003 to 2008. Recently, in 2021, they completed a Professional Certificate in Data Science from HarvardX. Additionally, Héctor Borges holds the certification of Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from the Scrum Alliance, which they obtained in October 2021.
