Aaron Ramirez

Aaron Ramirez has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Aaron worked as a Principal Software Engineer at Mosaic since October 2022, contributing to software architecture decisions and developing applications using Scala, Lagom/Play, Kubernetes, Kafka, AWS, and Terraform. Prior to Mosaic, they took a sabbatical at Location Liberation from September 2012 to February 2016, where they developed a paid SaaS application using Scala, Backbone JS, and Heroku while traveling extensively. Before that, they were a Lead Software Engineer at Solar Mosaic for six months, building a crowd-funding software platform from scratch. Aaron also worked as a Lead Software Engineer at Chegg Inc. from December 2010 to March 2012, and as a Senior Software Engineer at Cramster.com in 2010. Earlier in their career, they were a Software Engineer at Demand Media, where they significantly contributed to the success of the eHow website. Aaron also had experience as an Owner/Consultant at IT Expertise and as a Web Developer II at RealtyTrac Inc., where they developed web applications and scaled an email marketing campaign.
