Dan Budington

Daniel Budington is an accomplished financial executive currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Mosaic since October 2023. Prior experience includes a notable tenure at Santander US, where Daniel held several strategic roles, including SEVP, Chief Strategy & Corporate Development Officer. In this capacity, Daniel was instrumental in developing multi-year strategic roadmaps for US operations managing $180 billion in assets. Daniel also led financial planning and analysis and strategic planning, contributing to regulatory compliance and enhanced decision-making processes. Earlier in their career, Daniel worked at prestigious firms such as Guggenheim Partners, Deutsche Bank, Merrill Lynch, Bear Stearns, and Stern Stewart & Co. Daniel holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Rochester - Simon Business School and a BS in Business from the University of Vermont.
