Gwyn Gaafary is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and coaching. Currently serving as a Learning Coach at Prisma since July 2022, Gwyn previously held positions at Greenville County Schools as a Virtual Science Teacher and Teacher for Science, Math, and Engineering. Gwyn's teaching experience includes middle school engineering courses at Dade County and aerospace activities at The Challenger STEM Learning Center. Additional roles involved leading technology-based classes at COMPUTER EXPLORERS/ICED and teaching geology laboratories at the College of Charleston. Gwyn holds a Master of Education in Middle Grades Science and Math from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and a Bachelor of Science in Earth and Environmental Sciences from Furman University.
