Tim Corkran is an experienced educator and writer currently serving as a Learning Coach at Prisma since August 2023. From June 2020, Tim has been the Principal at Relevance Tutoring and Writing Services, providing private writing instruction and tutoring in writing and language arts. As a Senior Writer for MD Update since March 2013, Tim produces in-depth articles for healthcare professionals. Previously, Tim worked as a Curriculum Developer and Facilitator at Synthesis from February 2021 to August 2023, focusing on experiential learning for children. Tim's role as Head of School at Capital Day School from May 2015 to July 2020 included enhancing faculty development and increasing enrollment. At Sayre School, Tim coordinated professional development for faculty as Director of Professional Development from August 2004 to June 2013, and also led statewide teacher services initiatives through the Kentucky Association of Independent Schools. Tim holds a Bachelor of Arts in Earth and Environmental Sciences from Wesleyan University and a Master of Arts in American and English Literature from San Francisco State University.
