David Leiva

David Leiva is the Associate Director of Education and Workforce Programs at ADAC-ARCTIC, where they focus on fostering innovation and collaboration to enhance Homeland Security. As a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army National Guard, David commands infantry training and contributes to multinational operations, integrating military expertise with educational advancements. Additionally, David serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Maryland Global Campus and is a Senior Fellow at Tulane University's Disaster Resilience Leadership Academy. They are also pursuing a PhD in Development Economics and International Development at The University of Southern Mississippi and hold multiple degrees and certificates in related fields.
