Jonathan Sym

Jonathan Sym is an experienced C-Level and senior military officer currently serving as the Deputy Director of Joint Reserve Affairs at the Joint Enabling Capabilities Command, a position held since 2024. They have a notable history in public affairs, logistics, technology, and government, having previously served as CEO of Evermedia Biometrics Corporation from 2006 to 2017 and as Chief of Staff for Special Operations Command Africa from 2017 to 2018. Additionally, Jonathan has held roles including Managing Director at Sym and Company, Deputy Chief of Staff/Deputy Media Officer at NATO, and a financial consultant at Merrill Lynch. With a strong background in project and operations management, Jonathan’s expertise also encompasses organizational leadership and entrepreneurship. They completed their undergraduate studies at Boston University and attended Syracuse University's Maxwell School for further education.
