Chris King

Vice President of Software Engineering at Joist

Chris King has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Chris started their career at TELUS as a Software Engineer in 2008. Chris then moved on to Microsoft, where they served as a Software Development Engineer in Test for their Xbox 360 title Halo Wars. In 2010, they joined Amazon as a Software Development Engineer. After three years at Amazon, they joined Loblaw Digital as a Senior Developer, where they led the joefresh.com development team and the joefresh.com mobile API. Chris gradually progressed to roles such as Software Development Manager and Director of Software Engineering in different departments at Loblaw Digital. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Software Engineering at Joist.

Chris King obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo between 2004 and 2009.
