Guy New

Guy New is a seasoned IT professional and entrepreneur with extensive experience in database administration, project management, and consulting. As the owner of Jolig Consulting, Inc. since 1995, Guy New has developed and maintained failover, backup, and disaster recovery processes for DB2 databases while also specializing in IT and engineering consulting. Additional ventures include property management from 2001 to 2020, and entrepreneurship as a franchise owner of Dickey's Barbecue Pit. Guy New has also contributed to event planning for the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas and held various roles with the Boy Scouts of America, coordinating large-scale events. Prior experience includes positions as a database administrator for Rockwell Collins and Mary Kay, as well as teaching IT courses at ITT Technical Institute. Guy New holds a BBA in Business Computer Information Systems from the University of North Texas.
