Eric Neilsen

Eric Neilsen is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in engineering and operations across various organizations. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Jolt since 2024, Neilsen played a crucial role in orchestrating Jolt’s $145.5M acquisition by Digi International. Previously, as General Manager of Marketplace at Gemini, Neilsen oversaw a global team managing substantial trading volumes and budgets while modernizing trading architecture to significantly enhance throughput. Earlier roles include Chief Technology Officer at Jolt, where Neilsen built the engineering organization and implemented strategies that improved delivery cycles. Neilsen's experience at Amazon Web Services includes leading the launch of AWS CloudFront in China and developing AWS Snowball Edge, both landmark initiatives that contributed significantly to AWS's growth. Additionally, Neilsen has held engineering leadership positions at Amazon and Adobe, where contributions to SaaS platforms and developer tools laid a strong foundation for growth and innovation. Neilsen holds a B.S. in Electronic Information Technology from Brigham Young University.
