Dimitri Calomiris

Dimitri Calomiris has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Dimitri is currently working at Jonar as a Product Development Team Lead, where they lead a team in the development of the cloud-based ERP system Paragon. Prior to this role, Dimitri worked as a Software Developer at Jonar, where they contributed to the continued development of Paragon as a full-stack developer and DevOps engineer.

Before joining Jonar, Dimitri completed a Master's Thesis in Fluid Dynamics & Aerospace Engineering at McGill University. Their research focused on the unsteady aerodynamics of quadrotor UAVs, particularly the wall effects on propeller rotors. During their time at McGill, they also served as an Engineering Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for various courses, where they designed engineering competitions, guided students in mech labs, and assisted with course content.

Additionally, Dimitri gained experience at Siemens as a Post-Production Engineering team member, where they built a database and visual map for troublesome components on the SGT-A65 engine. Dimitri also conducted safety evaluations and investigations of engine components. Before that, they worked as an R&D Software Engineering Intern at Jonar, where they contributed to the development of web-based ERP software.
