Nate Ecker

Nate Ecker is an associate at Jones Day since October 2022, previously serving as a judicial extern for Judge Michael H. Watson at the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Ohio, where research and drafting for class action disputes were key responsibilities. Ecker also worked as a civil law clinic intern at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, mediating civil complaints and representing clients in court. Prior to becoming an associate, Ecker was a summer associate at Jones Day, where litigation and trademark matters were addressed. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Law from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor's in Economics from Washington & Jefferson College. Additional experience includes roles with the Federal Public Defender, Fifth Judicial District of Pennsylvania, and teaching mock trial techniques at Trinity High School.
