Simon Brown

Simon Brown is a Partner at Jones Day, with over 25 years of experience in advising on complex mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring, and private equity transactions across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. Notable expertise includes representation of significant corporations in the oil and gas, mining, renewable energy, technology, and infrastructure sectors, as well as providing guidance on joint ventures and equity capital markets transactions. Prior to joining Jones Day in September 2023, Simon served as a Partner at Ashurst from February 2000 to August 2023. Simon holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from The University of Birmingham, England, obtained in 1993.
