Bo Howell

Bo Howell is the Co-Founder and CEO of Joot. Bo has over 15 years of experience in the legal and financial industries.

Bo Howell began their career as a judicial extern for the Honorable Patricia C. Williams and the Honorable John A. Rossmeissl in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Washington. Bo then worked as a research assistant for Professor Daniel Morrissey at Gonzaga University School of Law. After graduation, Bo Howell worked as senior counsel in the Office of Disclosure and Review in the Division of Investment Management at the US Securities and Exchange Commission from September 2011 to September 2012.

Bo then joined Ultimus Fund Solutions, LLC as Vice President - Director of Fund Administration in October 2014. In May 2018, they left Ultimus to join Practus, LLP as a partner. Bo Howell left Practus in November 2020 to co-found Joot with fellow Practus partner Strauss Troy.
