Joseph’s Corner provides free counselling and support to the families of people affected by addiction.

When someone is struggling with substance use, gambling, or alcohol dependency, their loved ones often carry the emotional, financial, and psychological burden. We exist to support those behind the scenes — parents, partners, siblings, and carers — who are navigating the impact of addiction on their daily lives.

Founded in 2001, Joseph’s Corner is a community-based not-for-profit offering qualified counselling in a safe, non-judgemental environment. Our services are confidential and free of charge, made possible through donations, grants, and the generous support of local businesses and volunteers.

We work with families in Melbourne’s western suburbs and advocate for greater recognition of the ripple effect addiction has on entire households and communities.
