Derek Murphy

Derek Murphy has had a long and successful career in software engineering. Derek began their career in 1995 as a Software Engineer at Multiplay Online, where they created and developed client/server technologies for online gaming. In 1998, they joined ISYS Search Software, where they held the roles of Chief Technology Officer, President of the Denver Office, and Software Engineer. In 2012, they were the Chief Technology Officer of Enterprise Search at Lexmark Enterprise Software, where they developed and implemented a strategic vision for two Enterprise Search software products and integrated them into more than 20 Lexmark products. Since 2017, they have been a Software Engineer at Josh.ai, where they work on a voice controlled home automation system.

Derek Murphy attended the University of Sydney from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
