JOSPA have invented the OR-CA Platform (Orbital Robotics – Clean Automation), a revolution in wave propulsion! Our unique wave-propelled propulsion system unlocks fuel-free marine operations with high endurance and an exceptional towing capacity in the field of wave propelled technology.

We believe in the potential and protection of the oceans. For too long, the marine industry has either polluted with fuel-based activities or been prevented from new ocean-based activities because of full costs of fossil fuel powered technology. When looking to wave propulsion, USV operators have often been constrained by towing capacity and payloads that limit their operational ability.

Our purpose is to help unlock the potential of ocean-based activities, with solutions that are carbon-free and propelled by the orbital-motion of waves. Our unique, patented platform offers unparalleled green bollard pull and payload strength for high endurance missions, without the costs and damage of fossil fuels.

The ocean is full of energy - let's use it for propulsion!

Our OR-CA Platform’s unique Blade and Spine design, harnesses the energy of the waves’ orbital motion in order to provide a breakthrough range of benefits for oceanographic studies, marine surveillance, surface mooring and many more areas that will unlock Blue Economy opportunities. Our surface platform that can be customised into a range of scalable, emissions-free USVs. By adding solar panels, we power our control systems and your onboard equipment, meaning we source 100% of the energy needed form the environment around us.

The use of orbital motion of waves not only offers us the ability to propel your vessel, but also dynamic position holding with high level of accuracy.
