Sid Gauby has held a variety of roles in their career. In 1987, they began their career as Pastor at Wawaka Church of the Brethren. Sid then became Pastor at Agape Church of the Brethren in 1995. In 1999, they moved on to become Pastor of Community Life at Saint Joseph United Methodist Church. In 2010, they took on the role of Jesus Entrepreneur at New Ground Community Church. In 2011, they became Head Barista and Chief Bottle Washer at New Ground Coffee Company, which owns and operates Slow River Coffee, a coffee shop on wheels. In 2014, they took on the role of Owner/Operator at Slow River Coffee. Most recently, in 2022, they began working as Sales and Support Powering Food Trucks at Joule Case.
Sid Gauby obtained a BA in Sid'story from McPherson College in 1979-1983. Sid then earned a MaTh in Church Sid'story/Peace Studies from Bethany Theological Seminary in 1983-1985. Finally, they received a D. Min. in Leadership Development from Asbury Theological Seminary in 2003-2007.
