Michael Petersen

Michael Petersen currently serves as a Senior Software Implementation Specialist at Journal Technologies, a position held since October 2025. Prior to this role, Michael was a Transformation Project Manager at the U.S. Department of the Treasury for two years and spent nearly a decade at Journal Technologies Inc. as a Project Manager. Before joining Journal Technologies, Michael worked as a Program Manager at NexOne from October 2009 to July 2014. Michael holds an MBA with a focus on Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Organizational Behavior, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship from Brigham Young University, where studies were completed between 2008 and 2010. Additionally, Michael earned a BS in Business from Brigham Young University from 1999 to 2001 and an Associate degree in German and General Studies from Weber State University from 1997 to 1999.
