Leah Smith

Leah Smith is currently the Director of Product Development & Technical Operations at Journera. Leah has been in this role since May of 2021. Prior to that, they were with Jack Henry & Associates from January of 2017 to May of 2021. There, they were the Technical Support Engineer Manager. In that role, they managed the technical support engineering team for Ensenta products, certified mobile, desktop and web service integrations using product specific APIs, and created and maintained validation testing. Leah also supported all existing integrations, reported and validated vendor bugs, and worked with product, sales and engineering as a product integration SME. Additionally, they created and maintained all process and training documentation for the technical engineering team and established minimum requirements for certification for all Ensenta products.

Leah has also been responsible for onboarding new Partner Resellers during their product implementation, developing integrated plans to establish, monitor, manage and report key milestones and deliverables for both new and existing Partner Resellers. Leah builds and maintains strong, long-lasting Partner Reseller relationships (provides superior customer support; works together on new opportunities; introduces relevant products and products lines). Leah also supports the triage and resolution of critical program or project issues and scope changes throughout the project phases. Lastly, they oversee all daily operational Partner Reseller needs and works with cross-functional teams to compete company Partner Reseller driven initiatives.

Leah Smith has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Nevada, Reno in Business Administration and Management, General. Leah also has a Bachelor of Science (BS) from the University of Nevada, Reno in Business Management. Leah is certified in Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn.

They work with Shakur Smith - Software Engineer, Michael Pair - DevOps Engineer, and Ammar Dodin - Senior Software Engineer. Their manager is Kevin Iverson, CTO.
