Alan Johnson is a distinguished software engineer with extensive experience in developing and implementing technology solutions across various sectors, particularly in financial services. Currently serving as a Distinguished Software Engineer at Journey, Alan focuses on multichannel orchestration and authentication platforms with an emphasis on security and consumer privacy. Previously, as CTO of OptiFunder, Alan architected a scalable warehouse management system that enabled $27 billion in loan fundings within two years. Alan founded LoanBullet, creating an advanced mortgage automation system, and co-founded Place Global, developing a dynamic location-based content management system. Alan's career includes leadership roles at MortgageBuilder Software, LoanXEngine, Parsons Brinckerhoff, and other organizations, with a strong educational foundation comprising a BA in History and Economics from Boston College and an MBA in Entrepreneurship from the University of Colorado Boulder.
