JOVIS is a Berlin-based international publishing house focused on architecture, urbanism, and related disciplines. We publish books that spark dialogue on topics such as climate-just cities, postwar modernism, community living models, and contemporary landscape strategies—making expert knowledge accessible and relevant far beyond professional circles.

Our passion lies in the printed book. Each publication is the result of close collaboration between expert authors, an experienced editorial team, and talented designers. The outcome: thoughtfully curated, beautifully designed books that contribute meaningfully to the current conversations shaping our built environment.

Founded in 1995, JOVIS works with leading universities, planning and architecture firms, cultural institutions, and global initiatives. Since 2019, we have been part of the De Gruyter Brill publishing house, continuing our mission to amplify forward-thinking perspectives on architecture.
