Alan Chan

Alan Chan is the current CEO of Joy. Prior to that, they were the Product Lead at Yahoo from October 2013 to November 2015. Alan was responsible for leading the go to market and launch strategy for Ad Manager Plus.

Before their time at Yahoo, Alan Chan was the CEO of Bread from July 2010 to October 2013 when it was acquired by Yahoo. Bread is a platform that monetizes across social media, desktop and mobile publishers. Some of their partners include Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Just Jared, Pepsi, Sony Pictures and Carl’s Jr.

From January 2006 to December 2010, Alan Chan was the CEO of Arbitrage. Before that, they were a Summer Associate at Summit Partners from May 2005 to August 2005.

Alan Chan has a B.S. in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University.
