Melissa Steiner

Melissa Steiner has had a diverse range of work experiences. Melissa started their career in 1999 as a Human Resource Coordinator at GAP Inc, where they provided support on human resource policies and procedures. Melissa then transitioned into the field of education, working as a Teacher at Coronado Elementary School from 2004 to 2008, where they developed and taught various lessons for kindergarten students. Melissa continued their teaching career at Vallecito Elementary School from 2008 to 2012, focusing on third-grade education and implementing differentiated instruction strategies.

In 2012, Melissa shifted to a new role as an Account Executive at Equitable Mortgage Group. During this time, they managed leads, made sales calls, and drove the full sales cycle to attain new business. After that, they joined Houghton Mifflin Harcourt in 2014, initially as a Temporary Northern California Account Executive, where they managed a sales territory in a temporary absence. Melissa then became an Education Consultant, delivering sales presentations and product training to teachers and administrators. As an Account Executive, their responsibilities included designing strategies to meet customer needs, analyzing competitors' activities, and effectively utilizing available resources.

Currently, Melissa is working as an Account Executive at Alegra Learning starting from 2023.

Melissa Steiner completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Organizational Communications at Chico State University. Additionally, they attended semesters at the University of London, but did not specify a degree or field of study.
