Mike Carden

Michael Carden is a seasoned professional in enterprise conversations and technology, serving as Co-Founder of Joyous since February 2018. In addition, Michael holds the position of Director (Chair) at Narrative since January 2020 and has been a Judge for the NZ Hi-Tech Awards since 2014. Michael has extensive board experience, having served as Director (Chair) at AskNicely from 2017 to 2018 and as an Independent Director at vWork from 2016 to 2019, contributing to the enhancement of customer experiences for mobile workforces. Other significant roles include member of the Beachheads Advisor Board at New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, Chairman at Promapp until 2018, Director at Flossie until 2017, and Non-Executive Director at Plexure until 2016. Prior to these roles, Michael served as Vice President of Small Business Operations at Cornerstone OnDemand, focusing on technical, go-to-market, and sales strategies. Michael holds a BCom in Marketing & International Business and a BSc in Computer Science from The University of Auckland.
