Joyport is the one of the largest browser-based game developers and publishers in China. Headquartered in Hangzhou with branch offices in Shanghai, Beijing and Nanjing, Joyport aims at becoming a world-class online interactive entertainment company.

The flagship product – Kingory (http://kingory.gameol.com, http://apps.facebook.com/official-kingory) is one of the first graphical browser-based MMOSG games in the world, giving players an unprecedented gaming experience in the browser. Since its release in 2007, Kingory has had an amazing 60 million user base and been among the top 10 most searched games on Google.cn for two years in a row. Topping the market share chart in Taiwan and Malaysia and being extremely popular in Japan and Korea, the multi-language versions of the game were well-received internationally as well.

Shards, Joyport’s second production, has been under the spotlight since closed beta. Its innovative game system and refreshing art style are writing the definition of the next-gen web games.

The announced third game – The Storm Riders sets another “first” in the business by basing web games exclusively on popular comics.

Joyport has been expanding its international network since 2008 by partnering with NHN (KRX: 035420) and Nexon in Korea, Vector (NJM: 2656) in Japan, easyJoy in Malaysia and WAYI in Taiwan. The tremendous success in those markets proves the quality of Joyport’s products on a global scale. As of 2010, Joyport has subsidiaries in the US, Canada, Malaysia and Taiwan and will expand its reach to Europe in the near future.

Joyport believes that only through focusing on quality, experience, and values can great games be cultivated. With this mindset, Joyporters have been and will be delivering better online interactive games and products to the world.
