Derek Suminski

Derek Suminski has over 25 years of work experience. Derek started their career in 1993 as an Intern/Videographer at WGRZ-TV. In 1996, they joined INSPIRE as the Vice President of Business Development. Derek then moved to BAV in 2000, where they held multiple roles such as AV Manager at The Hyatt Regency Buffalo, Rental Manager, Director of Presentation Services, National Event Director, and finally, Vice President of Business Development. Derek worked at BAV for a total of 21 years, from 2000 to 2021.

Derek Suminski obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication, Media Studies, and Political Science from the University at Buffalo. Derek attended the university from 1989 to 1993.
