Emanuel Lima

Emanuel Lima has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Emanuel currently works as a Data Engineer at Jscrambler since May 2022. Prior to this, Emanuel served as an Invited Assistant Professor at Universidade do Minho starting from September 2018. Before that, they worked as a PhD Candidate at Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, where their research focused on the development of mobile data offloading systems using WiFi networks.

Emanuel also gained experience as a Research and Development Engineer at DTx - Digital Transformation CoLAB from February 2020 to February 2022. In this role, they were involved in multiple projects related to the development of Cyber-Physical Systems for Industry 4.0, serving as a Product Owner and writing project charters for innovative business use cases.

Additionally, Emanuel has worked as an Invited Researcher at Inria from October 2017 to December 2017. During this time, they conducted exploratory data analysis and feature engineering of WiFi connectivity data for the mobile data offloading domain. Emanuel also worked as a Researcher at Instituto de Telecomunicações from January 2015 to October 2015, where they evaluated routing protocols for wireless mesh networks using physiological and environmental sensor nodes.

Emanuel Lima began their education at the Instituto Politécnico de Viana do Castelo, where they obtained a Licentiate degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering.
