Thapelo Mohapi

Thapelo Mohapi, CFE, serves as the Enforcement Manager for Market Regulation at JSE since November 2017, where responsibilities include engaging with internal clients on regulatory matters and conducting investigations to uphold market credibility. Previously, Thapelo held the position of Senior Forensic and Compliance Auditor at the National Health Laboratory Service, establishing the department and overseeing forensic investigations. Earlier career experience includes roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers as Assistant Manager in Forensic Services and as a Police Detective with the South African Police Service, specializing in commercial crimes. Educational qualifications encompass a Bachelor of Commerce in Law, a Postgraduate Diploma in Forensic Auditing, and certification as a Certified Fraud Examiner, among others.
