Pascal Charest

Pascal Charest is a seasoned IT and security professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Information Security Officer at JSI, Pascal leads engineering security governance and risk programs while promoting secure-by-design practices throughout the software development lifecycle. Previously, Pascal held the position of Senior Engineering Manager in Security at Relay Financial, overseeing a remote-first team of 16 and defining multi-year security strategies. Additional experience includes significant roles at Shopify, Lightspeed Retail, and Beyond the Rack, where Pascal developed security initiatives, built teams, and implemented operational infrastructure. Educational credentials include participation in the Oxford Executive Leadership Programme and a degree from Polytechnique Montréal.
