Izzy Hastie

Izzy Hastie is an experienced fundraising leader currently serving as the Head of Fundraising at Jumpstart since September 2024. Previously, Izzy held multiple roles at Teach For America from June 2018 to August 2024, culminating in the position of Vice President, Head of Fundraising for the Northeast, Appalachia/Ohio, and Washington, where leadership resulted in over $12M in funding. Other notable positions at Teach For America included Vice President, Development & Finance, and Senior Managing Director, Development & Finance, directing teams to achieve ambitious revenue goals. In the education sector, Izzy started as a Founding Science Teacher at Unlocking Potential and later taught 8th Grade Science at Lawrence Public Schools. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Northeastern University.
