Julie Lin has a diverse work experience with various roles and responsibilities. Julie started their career in 2015 as a Sales-Design Intern at Hachette Book Group and later worked as a Children's Managing Editorial/Production Intern at Simon and Schuster. In 2016, they joined the Hamilton College Career Center as a Communications Intern. Additionally, in 2017, they served as a Fulbright Scholar, where they developed and executed English international education curricula and co-taught English classes. Julie also organized various English education outreach camps and a citywide reading event. In 2018, Julie became an Admissions Advisor at EF Education First. Currently, they hold the role of Associate Director of Institutional Partnerships at Jumpstart, where they previously served as a Manager of Institutional Partnerships.
Julie Lin obtained a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature and Studio Art from Hamilton College, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. In 2016, they also attended Temple University Rome, Tyler School of Art to further their studies in the field of art. Additionally, in July 2017, Julie Lin was recognized as a finalist for the Fulbright U.S. Student Program by the Fulbright Foundation for Scholarly Exchange.

Jumpstart delivers a research-based and cost-effective program by training college students and community volunteers to serve preschool-age children in low-income neighborhoods.
