Nancy Hernandez

Nancy Hernandez is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in both senior accounting and tax roles. Currently serving as a Senior Accountant at JSX since February 2022, Nancy previously held the position of Senior Tax Associate at Steward CPA PC from August 2015 to June 2024. In this role, responsibilities included aiding in the preparation of Federal and State tax returns, processing 1099 and 1096 forms, conducting monthly balance sheet reconciliations, and generating financial reports. Nancy also played a key role in implementing new software solutions, mentoring incoming employees, and facilitating the adoption of electronic signatures for client engagement letters. Nancy earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Stephen F. Austin State University between 2010 and 2015.
