Cynthia Shern

Cynthia Shern has worked in various roles in the business industry since 1980. Cynthia began their career as an Administrative Assistant at East Valley Community Cable/Valley Cable TV in 1980. Cynthia then moved to Chiat\Day in 1984 as an Account Coordinator for Apple Macintosh. In 1986, they became a Technical Producer for the Apple Computer Account at BBDO. Shern then worked as a Marketing Manager at Outsource from 1989 to 1994, during which they developed marketing strategies, created sales lists, and wrote marketing copy. From 1994 to 2001, they were a Technical Sales Consultant at Arbortext, where they developed and delivered technical sales presentations, conducted customer requirements analysis, and presented product demonstrations. Shern then worked as a Senior Technical Sales Consultant at Xyenterprise Inc. from 2001 to 2002, where they collected and documented customer issues and requirements for proposal writing and demonstrations. Cynthia then became the Owner of InHouse Consulting dot Net from 2002 to 2004, where they generated leads for clients and implemented direct mail, email, and cold calling campaigns. In 2004, Shern worked at Manpower Professional as a Document Auditor and at jTask, Inc. as an HR Manager and Sr. Marketing Mgr. In their most recent role at jTask, Inc., they also served as a Marketing Communications and Talent Acquisition.

Cynthia Shern began their educational career at Westridge School for Girls, Pasadena, CA, where they obtained their Diploma with Honors in Theirtory in 1968. Cynthia then attended the University of California, Los Angeles from 1968 to 1971, studying Fine Art. In 1978, they enrolled at Antioch, Venice Campus, studying Business Administration until 1982. In 1985, they completed a Certificate program at The Advertising Center Inc. of Los Angeles, with a focus on Ad Concepting and Copywriting. In 1994, they obtained a Certificate from National Seminars Training in Fundamentals of Effective Project Management. In 2012, they completed an SEO (Search Engine Optimization) certification from The JM Internet Group. Cynthia also attended Moksha Yoga Center, although the duration and field of study are unknown.
