[JTC Drives Sustainable Growth and Innovation in Japan's Inbound Tourism Market]

Operating 22 stores across Japan, JTC is a leading tax-free shop operator for inbound tourists. We are dedicated to providing a unique shopping experience, particularly for tourists from China, South Korea, Taiwan, and Thailand.

Following our listing on KOSDAQ market (CODE: 950170) in 2018, we faced a challenging period due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, we did not falter and instead embraced a new turning point in December 2022 by securing a strategic investment of approximately 50 billion won from Affirma Capital, a global private equity firm.

This investment enabled us to partner with Affirma Capital and implement fundamental management reforms focused on profitability. As a result, coinciding with the recovery of inbound tourism, we achieved a dramatic turnaround with an operating profit of 2.38 billion yen in FY2023.

Continuing our focus on profitability, we achieved remarkable results in FY2024, recording an operating profit of 5.24 billion yen.

JTC remains committed to pursuing sustainable growth and will continue to strive to provide the best value to all international visitors to Japan.
