Annie Chibwe is an experienced agricultural professional with a strong background in farmer mobilization, training, and agronomy. Serving as District Task Team Leader at Export Trading Group from March 2019 to April 2021, Annie led initiatives in Mongu District, focusing on creating and maintaining farmer groups for better community access. Annie has held roles at JTI (Japan Tobacco International) as an Agronomy Technician and ADET Trainee, and interned at the Zambia Agriculture Research Institute, where responsibilities included cashew and citrus propagation, farmer training, and rice production. Earlier internship experience at Bayer Crop Science involved educating farmers on product usage. Annie is currently pursuing further education at the University of Zambia, expected to complete studies between 2025 and 2027.
