Eric Choffat

Eric Choffat is an experienced IT Business Architect with a career spanning over 25 years, currently serving at JTI (Japan Tobacco International) since April 2008. In the role of IT Business Architect, Eric focuses on maintaining enterprise IT capabilities aligned with corporate strategies, leading initiatives that improve IT response time and developing new capabilities in demand management and portfolio management. Previous positions include Global Information Security & Risk Control Lead at JTI, where Eric developed governance frameworks and managed IT security risks, as well as roles at Merck KGaA and Merck Serono International SA, emphasizing security architecture and project management. Earlier experience includes project management and R&D leadership at Airbus CyberSecurity, where Eric designed secure communication systems and contributed to European Union projects. Eric holds an MBA from HEC Genève, a certification as an Information Security Officer from the University of Geneva, and a Master's degree in Computer Science from Ecole nationale supérieure de l'Electronique et de ses Applications.
