Matteo Bruna

Matteo Bruna is the Technology Exploration and Innovation Manager at JTI, with a rich background in research and development. They previously served as Head of the Research Department at Nokia-Bell Labs in Cambridge, leading a multidisciplinary team focused on IoT, wearables, and digital health. Matteo has held various roles, including Startup Mentor at Innosuisse and R&D Strategy and Planning Manager for Reduced Risk Products at JTI. They completed a PhD in Physics at Politecnico di Torino and have participated in numerous research initiatives, including partnerships with the University of Cambridge and involvement in the EU-funded Graphene Flagship project.
