Sam Harbo is an accomplished professional in the field of regulatory science and veterinary pathology, currently serving as Vice President of Regulatory Science at JTI (Japan Tobacco International) since June 2019. Prior to this role, Sam held various positions at Battelle, including Director of Tobacco Research and Business Development, and Veterinary Clinical Pathologist. Additional experience includes roles at SNBL USA and Battelle Toxicology Northwest, where Sam advanced from Manager and Scientific Advisor to Veterinary Clinical and Anatomic Pathologist. Education includes a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Washington State University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the same institution, complemented by studies at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
