Siegert Slagman is a seasoned tax professional currently serving as the Vice President of Global Tax at JTI (Japan Tobacco International). With previous roles as Director of Indirect Taxation at Philip Morris International and Head of Tax at Al Tayer Group, Siegert has demonstrated a strong ability to drive tax transformation and strategy on a global scale. Having earned a Master of Law in Tax Law and a TopMaster in Indirect Tax, Siegert holds extensive expertise in VAT, customs, and tax optimization. Additionally, they worked as an angel investor and strategic advisor from 2021 to 2023, further enhancing their diverse experience in the field.
