Valentin Dinca

Valentin Dinca is the AITO Director for North Asia & South Asia at JTI, where they lead initiatives to combat illegal tobacco trade across the Asia Pacific region. With 17 years of experience in law enforcement and cross-border operations, Valentin has specialized in disrupting organized crime networks and fostering public-private partnerships. Their previous roles include serving as the Deputy Head of Unit for Criminal Investigations at the Romanian National Police and as a Strategic Crime Analyst at the Southeast European Law Enforcement Center. Valentin has also led a security team for the United Nations Mechanism for International Criminal Tribunals, developing key security strategies and managing crisis response efforts.
