Amit Kumar

Amit Kumar, PhD, is an accomplished researcher with significant expertise in organic chemistry, currently serving as a Team Leader and Senior Research Scientist at Jubilant Biosys Limited since May 2019. Previously, Amit held the position of Research Scientist-Chemistry at TCG Lifesciences Pvt Ltd., where responsibilities included addressing chemistry-related challenges and supporting junior colleagues. As a Dr Kothari Postdoctoral Fellow at Jamia Hamdard, Amit focused on the design and synthesis of novel compounds as anti-inflammatory agents. Additional experience includes work as a Visiting Researcher at KU Leuven-University of Leuven, where Amit developed synthesis protocols for heterocyclic frameworks, and as a Research Associate at Jubilant Chemsys Limited, concentrating on medicinally significant heterocycles. Amit holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Delhi University, complemented by a Master's and Bachelor's degree in the same field.
