Founder/ CEO at Jugnoo

Samar Singla has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the CEO and Founder of JungleWorks since 2015. Prior to that, they were the Founder and CEO of Jugnoo, where they aimed to revolutionize travel by providing affordable and safe auto rides through a mobile app. Singla also founded Click Labs in 2011.

Before venturing into entrepreneurship, Singla worked as a Researcher at the University of Maryland, where they were a Research Assistant at the Center for Advanced Materials and Nano Physics. Samar focused on developing a Nuclear Magnetic Resonance based nuclear polarization technique. Prior to that, they worked as a Researcher at IBM, where they contributed to the field of Magnetic Racetrack Memory under Dr. Stuart Parkin's group.

Singla also had a stint as a Scientist at CERN, where they participated in the Mini Orange experiment, designing and building the data acquisition system and programming the nuclear radiation detector stage. Overall, Singla's work experience reflects a strong background in research, entrepreneurship, and innovation.

Samar Singla attended General Gurnam Singh Public School from 1991 to 2001, where they completed their High School education. After that, they enrolled at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in 2004 and pursued a Masters degree in Chemistry, which they completed in 2005. Following that, Samar Singla attended the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a BTech degree in Physics.
