Carla Nelson

Carla Nelson is an experienced health and wellness professional, currently serving as an Aging Life Care Manager at Caring Considerations Aging Life Care Professionals™ since September 2021. In addition, Carla has been a Health and Wellness Consultant and Qualifying Senior Sales Coordinator at The Juice Plus+ Company since April 2013 and operates Carla G. Nelson Consulting, LLC as a Health and Wellness Coach since November 2011. Carla contributed as a volunteer with the Loudoun Medical Reserve Corps from April 2020 to November 2022, assisting in vaccination clinics and contact tracing. Previously, Carla served as a Staff Physician at OEHSS at NSA from July 1994 to May 1999, providing primary care and preventive medicine, and as a Medical Officer and Officer in Charge at the Naval Hospital Branch Clinic from July 1992 to June 1994, overseeing primary care and emergency services. Carla holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the Uniformed Services University (1987-1991) and a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology from the University of Maryland Baltimore (1985-1987).
