Michael Smith

Michael Smith, ND has extensive experience in the field of naturopathic medicine. Michael is the founder/CEO and naturopathic physician at Carolinas Natural Health Center since 2006. Michael specializes in classical homeopathy and clinical nutrition. In addition, they co-founded and serves as the president of Cure Your Acid Reflux since 2013. Michael has also been the owner of Naturopathic Health Systems since 2006. Michael has held various marketing positions at The Juice Plus+ Company and served as the international and national marketing director. Michael has also worked as an adjunct professor at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and as the president of the North Carolina Association of Naturopathic Physicians. Additionally, they have experience as a pilates instructor at the YMCA of Greater Charlotte. Before getting into the field of naturopathic medicine, Michael served as the regional director at AIESEC in 1994.

Michael Smith, ND attended the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine & Health Sciences from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a degree in Naturopathic Medicine. Prior to that, they attended the University at Buffalo from 1989 to 1994, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) and Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business and Psychology. In 1991 and 1992, they also studied Business Studies at City, University of London.
